Moisture measurement has always been an important process parameter. Traditionally this has been carried out using the conventional laboratory analysis of a manual sample. The H2OScan On-Belt Moisture Measurement System now allows the accurate measurement of moisture in real time. The H2OSCAN Moisture Analyzer uses microwaves to measure moisture in materials on open conveyors. The Moisture Analyzer was developed for continuous, on-conveyor application ranging from conventional materials to moderately attenuating materials such as iron ore, chrome, minerals concentrates and high moisture coals.
