The Scanmin SMASH analyser/ analyzer is online elemental analyzer has been developed using the latest cutting-edge digital technology. Important Coal constituents to the thermal power and coal industries, are measured directly by using the Scanmin signature neutron inelastic scatter and thermal neutron capture analysis. The analyser / analyzer uses an Am241Be radionuclide neutron source to excite the material directly on a conveyor belt and produce real-time analysis results. The SMASH analyser / analyzer is unique in that it can measure both organic and inorganic matter in Coal i.e., Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen etc.
